When I was researching about keeping chickens, I wanted to be able to see how quickly they would grow. I found a few videos on youtube and a few scattered pictures, but not exactly what I was looking for. Therefore, I decided to document the growth of my own chickens. On this page, you will find weekly pictures of each chick as it grows into adulthood.

This is awesome! Very similar to what I’ve done with our Gouldian Finches… no info out there on what babies look at different stages, and what different colors look like in infancy. Your ladies look just like ours… like mini chickens now! And Ruth (the wyandotte) is now bigger than Ilse (the easter egger), it seems.
We started yesterday with 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 2 Americaunas (Easter Eggers), and 2 Buff Orpingtons. All are one week old. Our girls are going to love the changes over the next month. Thanks for posting!
